OUR PRAYER:  We gather together to lift our voices as one to plead for our nation!  Lord, hear our cries and lead us into this spiritual battle.  We rebuke the enemy from oppression of the government and the people, and we bind the enemy in Jesus’ name.  Send forth your waring angels, O Lord and help us to break the jaw of the enemy and to tear down the fortress of the enemy.  Help us to go lower than any sin and pray it lose that it may be cast into the everlasting fires.  Let us go so far from east to west that there is no beginning nor ending to our prayers, O Lord. And let us lift our voices higher and higher into Your throne room.  Let us wreak havoc on every evil plan.  We beg that you cast down every vain imagination of the enemy.  Let us shout and claim the victory in You, Our Lord and Savior, as you break the chains that bind our nation!  In Jesus’ name, Amen~

AMENDMENT III.  No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner…

AMENDMENT IV.  The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause..

AMENDMENT V. No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury.. or the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself..

AMENDMENT VI. In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial..

AMENDMENT VII. In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved..

AMENDMENT VIII. Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

AMENDMENT IX. The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

AMENDMENT X. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

When we gear ourselves up for battle, we must remember that the government and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ knows no end.  However, there is a simple fact we Christians often overlook.  We.  Have. aChoice.  Prayers are only answered when we ask them. Miracles only happen around us, we we are ready to see them and accept them.  Our light doesn’t shine until we turn it on.   We can’t bow to the Lord if we are dancing with the devil.

So how do we get the powers of God released, along with his warrior angels?  Why do we even have angels to do battle, if they aren’t or can’t be used?  Do we really know what angels are about?  Where they come from?  We can read the amendments to the Constitution, and even read the entire Constitution. And we may grasp some or all of it.  But that seems to be a far better start than we have about spiritual warfare, warrior angels and the government of peace upon the shoulders of Jesus Christ!  How can we learn?  By listening to the propaganda and rubbish on TV and radio, or read it in newspapers, magazines or online?  No. We can’t.  We can only learn it when we turn our attention to God. When we love our country to the point that we are willing to step over our curiosity about the latest travesty against the people; when we are willing to step over our hatred and anger – when we are willing to turn to God, bow at His feet and say “Yes, Lord”.

Let’s start with angels today. Who are they?   They actually are servants of God and His people.  They were created before we ever were, to help God with all His universes – to keep order, to restore a government of peace.  Satan was the most beautiful, and began to think he was more wonderful than God.  He managed to turn 1/3 of the angels to his side, and went to war against God.  God cast him and his cohorts out of heaven.  Since we know the angels were created before mankind, what does that tell  us?  It tells us that angels are not the spirits of our lost loved ones.  No human has ever left earth and entered the Kingdom of Heaven and become an angel.

Angels are here to serve us.  They help us.  When we pray, God sends out His angels to help us with the answer to our prayer, no matter what it is.  That is why we need Spiritual Warfare – making war in the heavenlies.  Do the angels battle us?  Do the angels move aside people, events, circumstances in our lives to help us?  No.  They battle the things of darkness.  We don’t do it alone.  Because it is our prayer; because we believe and have faith, we are then in on the charge!  Yep.  We become the general, right beside Jesus.   If we lie down and quit, then our army of angels must go away.  It is only when we push through, rising up with a roar against the creatures of darkness do we set loose this fabulous army. 

Remember the picture:  The Portrait of Dorian Gray?  The more beautiful and youthful Dorian became, the uglier and more twisted became his portrait. That is much like our country.  People are becoming more beautiful, more tantalizing.. more like the gods and idols they seek. And our country is getting uglier and more dangerous every day.  Fact.

If this is too much for you to take in, then I leave it to the Lord to guide you.  For those of you ready to mount up with the Lion of Judah, let’s ride!

FREEDOM’S NECESSARY SECURITY

The following text is a transcription of the second of the 10 amendments to the Constitution in their original form. These amendments were ratified December 15, 1791, and form what is known as the “BILL OF RIGHTS.” There are 10 Amendments to the in the Bill of Rights, forever established in 1791. We have some problems, and we need some miracles.  Help us with our mind set so we may pray and act according to Your will, O Lord and not to anything preconceived or prejudiced in our own, individual wills. Let us serve You for the good of this, Your country, a country of promise and hope. We are praying for our promised security for the sake of freedom. Freedom from personal attack, freedom for national threat and freedom from a police state. Lord, we pray your divine intervention in this matter.  A few people, full of anger and mental illness take up their arms and commit murder. Now our government says all citizens must pay the price, leaving us vulnerable in our own homes. The premise for this action of denying our 2nd Amendment rights has to be to enforce a police state, and thus anarchy.  We are a free nation, under You, O Lord.  We need You help to accomplish this task of getting others to rise up against this tyranny, a tyranny which You didn’t envoke, but one which we allowed to happen.  Help us, God.  In Jesus’ name. Amen!

O Father, we are so sorry that we have let it become this way, for surely we have allowed the oil in our lamps to burn dry.  Teach us, O Lord your precepts and lead us in the way You would have us go.  Help us to forgive others, as you would forgive us.  Let us not be tempted by the freedom of speech and freedom of press, to say unspeakable things – things that wound Your heart.  Let us not be tempted to shout hatred at those practicing their religion in peaceful manner, according to the will You established though the 1st Amendment.  Instead, let us love them, and show them the way.  And join with them at their appointed time of prayer, lifting songs of praise and worship unto You, O Lord. GOD TEST US!

God shed His grace on thee~

We must look in entirety at this ARTICLE VI, as it has three distinct directives, and none of them number. That means the congress did not feel it necessary to specify or clarify it any further. That is is fully understandable as it is.

All Debts contracted and Engagements entered into, before the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation.

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land

No religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

This freedom from any religious test applies all the way from the Presidency down to local school boards. In the First Amendment to the Constitution, we are promised that there shall be “no law respecting an establishment of religion”.

This means that religious participation or abstinence shall have equal consideration as it pertains to the law of the land.  There is no confinement to the types of religious participation or abstinence.  This means that whether we choose to participate in religious activities or not, we have the freedom of choice in both cases, and in no event shall participation or lack of participation be tested by law.

The Constitution was clearly established under God.  But the open-ended Article VI Paragraph 3, and the ensuing First Amendment have left the door open and is causing the riffles in our society as pertains  to “In God We Trust”, and display of Christian and all other types of religious proclamations in Government and “public” places.  This does not affect privately held land.  And the people still have the right to vote on the public land issues.

OUR PRAYER:  Dear Lord we come to You today with a better understanding of the uphill battle that lies before us.  We know there are men in Congress who are working to have the “freedom of worship” ratified, just as there are those who are seeking to have the “freedom from worship” fully enacted.  Lord, we just don’t know how to pray or where to begin on this, other than laying it at Your feet, seeking Your wisdom and letting You lead the way.  We know, Father is Christians do not rise up, the next step will be for unbelievers to eradicate Christianity completely from this country.  We prostrate ourselves before You, as our hearts race in anxiety.  Calm us, O Lord, and show us Your way so that we may be an everlasting light for You in this land You have given to us.  We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen!

THIS IS MY COUNTRY

This is my country, land of my birth. This is my country, greatest on earth! I pledge thee my allegiance, America the bold. For this is my country, to have and to hold. In God we trust! We plead for our country, and the people You have allowed to come to our shores. All nationalities, all religions, Lord because we believe You when You teach us that all things work for the good for those who believe in You.  We turned our faces from You, O Lord and hid Your words from our hearts. You did not create this havoc in our land, this land You gave us and blessed with freedom. The decay began within when we began to place ourselves higher than You, O Lord.  Believing the old lie from the Garden.  We keep repeating the same Adam and Eve transgression, and now we hide from You, naked as You call out to us:  Adam! Where are you?  Ahhh, Lord my spirit groans within me, and my eyes are filled with tears I cannot shed. My heart aches to breaking.  Shine Your light on our path, O Lord, and let the whole world see.  Let us lift up Your standard and serve only You, Lord.  Teach us Your ways; discipline us and have mercy on our next generations. We beg that You do not hold them accountable for our sins, dear Father. Help us to restore this land to You, O Lord, not for us but for our children’s children for all time. SWEET LAND OF LIBERTY

My country ’tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim’s pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring.

1 Corinthians 8:9 NKJV.  But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak.

Galatians 2:4 NKJV.  And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage)..

Galatians 5:13 NKJV.  For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

2 Peter 2:19 NKJV.   While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.

OUR PRAYER:  Our Father, our Author of Liberty we claim these scriptures today, and write them in our hearts. O Lord, You knew and foretold so long ago that mankind would turn against those who are weaker, poorer, sicker and lacking the power of another, with the intent of enslaving them.  Lord, our country cried out against slavery 150 years ago, that all slavery end.  But we refused to listen to Your very words, that when a slave is set free, he is free indeed.  And now have allowed another form of slavery of self-interest to entice us and draw us in, causing us to turn our face from you.  Forgive us, O Lord, and hear our cries. We bow down before You and seek Your mercy, not Your justice.  For Your justice would surely find us guilty, and wanting, which is what we are.  And we should expect nothing more than Your swift arm of judgement  against us.  For we became lazy, feeling entitled, and wanted none of You.  Yet, we know You are a loving and merciful God.  Let us come sit with You awhile to hear You,  O Lord, as You teach us, again.   We ask You to bend Your ear to our pleas. In Jesus’ name. Amen~

OUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED

Before we begin to look at amendments to the Constitution, let us pray for the foundation on which our country was established. The Constitution has several articles set down in 1787, and yet today much of what happens in the government is predicated on constitutional law. We must pray to keep our Constitution safe from the ravages of self interested people who would tear it apart.  We must understand what we are praying for.  These are the articles, and we should cover them daily in our prayers:

1. ARTICLE I.  All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.
2. ARTICLE II.  The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.  He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected.
3. ARTICLE III.  The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. 
4. ARTICLE IV.  Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State.  And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof.
5. ARTICLE V.  The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments..
6. ARTICLE VI.  [This is a big one and will be addressed tomorrow].
7. ARTICLE VII.  The Ratification of the Conventions of nine States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same.

God shed His grace on thee~

This means that the constitution was drawn up specifically to safeguard the rights people as listed in the Preamble.  The Preamble clearly set the guideline that the government works for the people, not the people for the government.  The Constitution cannot legally be changed or amended without 3/4 ratification of congress.  This is God’s promise to us, in this promised land of milk and honey.  Just like the laws of Leviticus, which were amended with the 10 Commandments, so is this land established by God, and claimed for God. That is why “In God We Trust” became our inscription. Should the government forget this, then we Christians must make sure the government is reminded. We must not be as lambs led to the slaughter.  But how can we pray for and stand for our constitutional rights, if we don’t really know what they are?  The answer is simple.  We can’t.

When we are praying for a specific purpose, we must know not just God’s word, but the legal premise promised by God when the Constitution was established.  For example, when we pray “Lord, let there be no suffering…” are we praying according to the will of God, and how do we know?  We only know, when we know His word:  James 5:13[NKJ]. Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray.

So what, then can we do about suffering?  Praise God for His mercy, thank Him for His many blessings and miracles and ask for His divine intervention. Not according to how we think it should be done, but according to His will.  He is not the enemy, He is our savior, our rescuer and counselor.

Isaiah 35:4 NKJV.   Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.“

OUR PRAYER: Lord, we come to you in prayer for our country, lifting our U.S. Constitution into your safe keeping for yet another day.  Thank you, Lord for this wonderful land you have given us, and forgive us for our apathy and laziness in keeping it fresh and beautiful, free of darkness and terror as You have commanded us to do. Rise up O Lord!  Stretch your legs out O Lion of Judah and lead us in this spiritual warfare!   Hear our cries, and help us to be strong in battle, even at this 11th hour.  Give us wisdom to understand the precepts upon which You, O Lord established this great land.  Give us eager eyes and ears to see and hear what we have turned away from for so long – the responsibility for keeping You, O Lord in command of this country.  Let us discover in our hearts that freedom is a gift only You can give, so it needs to be sheltered beneath  your wings.  We thank you for this gift.  Bless us as we serve you.  We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen~

TEARING DOWN THE DEEDS OF DARKNESS![edited]

David knew the zeal of the Lord would perform it~

David bows his head and says “Yes, Lord”. Then he raises his eyes to heaven and shouts out a praise to the Lord for this work the Lord has entrusted to him. And, again he says “Yes, Lord”! He looks around him and sees that he is alone; all the others have backed far off. He smiles to himself, knowing he will only have one chance to make this happen – just one. His heart thrumps within his chest, as he marvels that he Lord would choose him to do this. Yet, there is no fear, for he knows without a doubt that his Lord is with him, and has called him into battle.

He bends over and quickly picks up three stones.. one for the sling and two for the hand. He has spent years guarding his flock from predator attacks, and he is confident of his ability with the sling. He stands up and begins to twirl the sling as the giant Goliath stomps and roars before him. David is quick, much quicker than Goliath. He knows with all his experience he must get close enough for the perfect shot, but not too close. He must stay out of the range of the enemy. He picks up the speed on the twirling sling as he dances before the giant. He needs to maneuver the giant into position for a shot. Faster and faster spins the sling, and it has become an extension of David’s right arm, and David feels it. Knows the rhythm, and feels the power of the Lord explode into his arm. This is it! This is the moment! David releases the sling and casts the stone; he  is so quick that before the sling ceases humming, he has placed another stone, and the twirling begins anew.  Yet, he knows his cast was true. His stone has hit the target dead on.

But you, O Lord are a shield around me~

A mighty whosh of air escapes Goliath as the stone reaches its target. He looks surprised, then his eyes roll up into his head, and he falls, crashing to the ground. Between heartbeats, David is upon him, sword in hand and the mighty power of God is extended into the sword in the hands of this lowliest of lowly beings. A lowly shepherd boy. A guarder of the flock. A poet. A maker of music.

With a final swing of the blade, Goliath is dead. Forever. Slain by a young, yet powerful boy, whose power comes from the Lord. Not by strength. Not by might, but by the power of the Spirit unleashed and set free within him.

As in this famous battle, some battles in spiritual warfare are done alone, while others stand by and watch, waiting to see what happens before they commit themselves. Or perhaps they wait in fear and trembling. Some want to be titillated with gory details, longing to share it all with others. Or perhaps they just don’t want to get down and dirty.  Whatever the reason, or thought, too many Christians cherish the ride, but “the laborers are few”. The Lord has made provision for just these very things, because we are, after all His creation. He doesn’t condemn, but he weeps. If He weeps, then who am I to think I don’t have to weep over His Kingdom. If I am afraid to weep, then I can’t be in the battle.

He will give His angels charge over you, to protect you in all your ways~

What we don’t “see”  in our human frailty is the army of God’s angels sent to help us. An army that lets us have the shout of victory, and calls us beloved heroes in the Kingdom.  They deliver the Good News of our victories  to our Father and the Host. They will keep us from even stubbing our toe! As I bend over to pick up a stone to fit in my sling against the enemy, I am reminded of this.  And I smile.  Imagine! A legion of angels just to encamp around me, to keep me safe.  Will my attack be straight and true? I pray to God it will bash the teeth of the enemy.  Yet, not by my hand, but by the power of the  Holy Spirit alive within me. Thank you, Lord.

You are invited to come with along  on this adventure of war in the heavenlies. We will battle for our blessed land, a country that is piece, by piece being handed over to the enemy.  My husband and I have committed our lives, fighting back-to-back against this terrible darkness that sweeps over our land, like a plague. The Lord gave us the vision in 1980 about the the darkness, that it was thick and sticky, massive and heavy – like tar being poured over His people, over the earth.  But here and there a light shone out, and the tar was peeled back, like an orange. And the light grew brighter and brighter.  His promise was that if His people, called by His name would humble themselves, truly humble themselves and pray… then He would hear their battle cries and send an army of the heavenly host to fight by our side, and  He would heal our land.

Whatever your plans are for today, and for 2013 I pray the Lord will bless you with comfort, peace and joy in all you do. As for me and my house, we will battle for the Lord. Our delight is in the Lord, and in Him we will place all our trust. Yes, we will ride with Him!
